1. Extract the zest

Lemon zest is useful for your pastries or for certain sweet/savory dishes. Extract the zest from your lemon peels with a zester and freeze it. That way, you'll always have some on hand!

Boil the lemon peels for several minutes and allow to cool completely then strain the mixture. Add 70 ml of cow's milk or almond milk, 2 tablespoons of cold-pressed olive oil and a few drops of lemon essential oil. Soak your feet in this mixture for about 20 minutes. Then pat them dry with a towel. Your feet are now very soft. And it also works for corns and calluses.

14. Scent the house

Boil lemon peels to scent your whole house for free instead of buying expensive chemical air fresheners! You can also add cloves, cinnamon sticks and orange peel for a little wintery note.
