Fabeltjeskrant savings campaign at the Plus

Finally a good savings campaign, the Fabeltjeskrant savings campaign at the Plus. In the past, I've disapproved of supermarket promotions. Especially because they are mainly savings campaigns for a lot of 'plastic junk'. But this savings promotion from the Plus is a very cool promotion and a real favorite here at home.

Dear viewing tube children, read this blog and then you will understand why 😉 .

Fabeltjeskrant savings campaign at the Plus

Last week I showed you the video I received in my mailbox from more the Owl van de Fabeltjeskrant. A super fun video with a lot of recognition.

The next day I got a huge box sent home with all the hand puppets from the Fabeltjeskrant savings campaign, and some nice Plus products. It felt like a kind of Christmas gift and Lotte was jumping happily around me when she saw the big box. I am happy with the delicious products. She is happy with the hand puppets. Of course, the puppet theater had to be put together immediately to perform a small theater show.

The nice thing about the Fabeltjeskrant savings campaign

It seems clear to me why I like this savings campaign of the Fabeltjeskrant so much. To start with, the hand puppets are just made of fabric, so there is no plastic junk to be found (admittedly, the puppet theater has a little bit of plastic on it, but that is negligible). Another big plus of this savings campaign is that it challenges children to be creative. In the first instance, saving is of course super fun, but you can also play with it very nicely.

I also find an extra advantage that - if you have saved enough stamps - you can choose a hand puppet of your choice. So you don't end up with double hand puppets, but you can complete your entire puppet show with the Fabeltjeskrant savings campaign.

And last but not least…. this Fabeltjeskrant savings campaign naturally brings back a lot of memories for me. Nostalgia at its best! And you will probably suffer from that too.

You can save these dolls with the Fabeltjeskrant savings campaign

There are 5 hand puppets to collect:

  1. Mr. Owl
  2. Miss Stork
  3. Lowieke de Vos
  4. Bor the Wolf
  5. Willem Bever

The more hand puppets you have from this Fabeltjeskrant savings campaign, the more fun it will be to play.

1. Mister Owl

Mr. de Uil is perhaps the most famous bird of Dutch television and as far as I am concerned also of the Fabeltjeskrant savings campaign. He even has his own song:'Hello, Mister Owl, where are you taking us? To Fableland!'

Once in Fabeltjesland, Mr. de Uil reads to the children from the Fabeltjeskrant. Mr. Owl is very wise, always nice and sometimes a bit absent-minded.

2. Miss Stork

Miss Stork likes to boss around in the woods. She does everything she can to get her way. Her sharp tongue earns her few friends. Yet deep in her heart she is a good man who likes to advise and assist her animal friends.

3. Lowieke de Vos

Lowieke de Vos is a bon vivant who is always in for a joke. Especially if there is a tasty snack attached to it, such as a triple portion of beech nuts or a green grits porridge. He is a regular guest at the Praathuis and knows how to get everything done with all kinds of pranks and excuses.

4. Bor the Wolf

Bor de Wolf is the peaceful owner of the Praathuis. In this talk house, all forest residents come together to discuss their daily affairs. They like to drink a glass of grenadine or acorn coffee there. Bor stepped on his toes rather quickly. Then he flees to the Scary Forest to play his harmonica. But what you do with the dolls from the Fabeltjeskrant savings campaign is of course entirely up to you.

5. Willem Bever

Willem Bever is the brother of Ed, the handymen of the large Dierenbos. You can recognize him by the white apron. Willem is not only the most technical but also the most romantic of the two. For example, he tries to impress Martha Hamster by building a stereo for her. Or does he just like to do that?

Fun for young and old with the Fabeltjeskrant savings campaign

With every € 10.00 you get a stamp. With a full savings card (18 stamps) you can choose a Fabeltjeskrant figure of your choice. The puppet show costs € 2.99.

As far as I'm concerned, this is a savings campaign with a golden edge. Just like the AH vegetable garden actions from the past. Fun for young and old!
