Crafts in the summer; That's how you get through that thunderstorm!

Dutch summers? You can go either way with that. Nice weather is of course fantastic to let the kids enjoy their summer holidays to the fullest. But even with less weather, a summer holiday can be wonderful. How about crafting in the summer? We have made a list of fun crafts for children. The children will still get through the first week of the summer holidays. But no matter how they say they hate school; sooner or later boredom will set in. And what do you do when you're bored? 1. Crafting ice cream in the summer

Ice cream is actually delicious all year round, but of course it tastes even better in the summer! And so the ice cream theme should certainly not be missed during tinkering in the summer. 3. Crafting a summer flower

Nice to give to the teacher as a farewell present... Or just to start the new school year right! 5. Summer crafts with paint

We all still have a paint box in the closet. Time to get those for the day! What could be more fun than tinkering with paint in the summer? First of all, keep your eyes open if you can go outside again after the rain. There you will find a lot of nice things that you can also paint! Look for beautiful stones, pinecones or sticks. Are you going for a work of art on paper? Then you can also paint in a different way by not using a brush, but a fork! Or how about painting with feathers? Let the kids think creatively, and then a beautiful work of art will come out.

6. Craft your own underwater selfie in a summer theme

Super fun, isn't it, this summer craft? Take your own holiday selfie – or go all out and craft the whole family at the bottom of the sea.
