As a mom to two boys, I'm no doll expert—my last playdate with one was 25 years ago. Early tries with basic dolls ended quickly, with buggies repurposed for car races. Rejecting stereotypes, I was thrilled to introduce Baby Annabell. Now, my 5-year-old son Max plays with her daily.
Baby Annabell's interactivity makes her irresistible. She drinks from her bottle, moving her mouth as she sucks, then burps—much to Max's delight. Bouncing her on your knee brings laughs, tummy tickles spark giggles, and she even passes gas. She cries real tears but calms quickly with her pacifier, dummy, or rocking to sleep, complete with yawns and closed eyes.
She arrives in a romper and hat, plus bib, bottle, pacifier, and chain.
Feeding goes beyond bottles with this setup. The lunch table matches Annabell's interactivity: pink chair with lamb design and smart tabletop. Use the spoon with carrot, pea, pear puree, rice pudding, pudding, or fruit compote—place bowls on the sheep motif.
