At the end of January, in front of the emotional wedding guests in McCall, Idaho, Brian Scott shared vows with the two key women in his life: his wife, Whitney Kay, and her 3-year-old daughter, Brielle.
On this snowy day, the groom knelt to Brielle's level during the ceremony, vowing to care for and love her forever:
"I promise to always stay by your side, hop with you on the street, and do my best to make your life great. I promise to always make you say your prayers before eating. I promise to read you stories at night before sleeping while hugging you. I promise to always show you with your mother how a real man should treat his wife. And above all, I promise to protect you, to take care of you and to love you forever," he told Brielle, as featured in a
video by PenWeddings.
For Brian, the moment was profoundly moving: "When I wrote this, I thought it would be strong, but in reality, it was even more powerful. We all shivered with emotion. When you marry someone, you marry their children too. A perfect example."
