It's elusive—close enough to touch, yet quick to slip away. While meeting someone felt easier in the past, today's daters often compare finding a stable love relationship to securing a decent apartment in Paris. However, trends are shifting: both men and women are increasingly open to commitment, often via dating apps.
To provide clarity, the dating app Bumble commissioned a study from RWB (Research Without Barriers), surveying French singles on their dating expectations, relationships, and app usage. Key questions included: “Have you used a dating app this year?”, "Why do you think people use dating apps?", “Have you had a beautiful love story from an app?”, and "What do you want from a dating app?" Respondents answered candidly, revealing a clear trend in four major cities: 1 in 2 people want to use dating apps for serious relationships.
