As parents with young children, we've explored countless play spaces, and the Playmobil FunPark in Fresnes stands out as a vibrant indoor wonderland dedicated to imaginative play. Spanning over 2,000 m² with 12 themed playgrounds in Val-de-Marne, France, it's packed with giant Playmobil sets that spark creativity for kids of all ages.
We visited on Wednesday, January 2, in the early afternoon. Pro tip from our experience: arrive right at opening (10 a.m.) to beat the crowds. The park gets busy fast, and popular toys see slow turnover as kids dive into extended play sessions. Despite the space, it feels cozy with families everywhere.
See it in action with this official presentation video of the FunPark:
At the heart of Playmobil are versatile figurines that fuel storytelling. Children project their emotions and creativity into these characters, crafting everything from knightly quests and pirate voyages in historical settings to modern-day roles like veterinarians, police officers, or even secret agents in fantastical worlds. It's miniature role-play at its best, drawing from real-life experiences or pure imagination.
Address: 22 Allée des Jachères, ZA La Cerisaie, 94260 Fresnes, France
Open: Tuesday to Sunday
Hours: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Admission:
A thoughtfully designed zone for 18- to 36-month-olds features soft play tables and oversized Playmobil pieces. Our 1-year-old had a blast here, fully engaged for ages. One drawback: its spot near the entrance means it's prone to drafts—dress in layers for little ones.
From fire trucks and police cars to castles with dragons and space rockets, the park offers diverse zones that captivate everyone. Toys may shift around and mix a bit amid the excitement, but it never hampers the joy of play. Parents, you'll find yourselves joining in too!

A casual restaurant inside serves standard kids' menus—nothing fancy, but reliable. Note: Bags are checked at entry, and outside food/drinks (even baby items) are strictly prohibited. Plan meals around visit times or budget for on-site eats.
As seasoned family outing enthusiasts, we give the Playmobil FunPark a strong thumbs-up. It's an immersive introduction to the Playmobil universe, ideal for a one-time (or repeat!) visit. You'll exit through the shop, but no pressure to buy. Beyond minor gripes like dining rules, it's a hit—we highly recommend it for nearby families!
