Brian Gordon is a talented cartoonist and the father of two young children, ages 4 and 7. His experiences as a dad fuel the authentic, laugh-out-loud comics on his popular site, Fowl Language Comics.
Gordon draws on a wide range of topics, but his spot-on portrayals of daily parenting life resonate deeply with parents worldwide.
"My comics are almost all autobiographical," Gordon shares. "Very often, what I draw happened to me no later than the same day."
These strips are hilarious because they're so realistic. Gordon's favorite, Welcome to the World of Parents, perfectly sums up the parenting journey.
"Sometimes it feels like being a parent is a real ordeal! But at the same time, it's also such a rewarding experience! I think that's why there are so many people on our planet," he explains.

I love Gordon's comics because they so accurately depict parenting life. They offer pure humor about everyday realities, without judgments or lessons.
When I asked Gordon about the worst parenting advice he'd received, he shared this gem: "I was sleep-deprived, scarfing a sandwich with my 1-month-old who had just paused his screaming. A woman approached and said, 'You should take advantage of this period, sir: that's when they are easiest.' I wanted to curl up and cry!"
We've all gotten unhelpful advice like that. That's why Gordon's comics are a breath of fresh air—they let us laugh at shared parenting moments.
Thanks to Gordon for the laughs amid the chaos.
