Day's second wonder (it's Wednesday—my pajama-clad little one pops in every five minutes with PlusPlus masterpieces): I've updated my blogroll, fulfilling a 2011 resolution. Explore the blogs I follow religiously; it's a select list, as I often overlook favorites (sorry!).

The blog hits 9 years next month. Following Harmony's Instagram lead, I checked stats: nearly 2.3 million unique visitors since launch. Astonishing.
True to my word, big plans brew for the 10-year mark in 2018—same year my husband turns 40 (ish), our partnership celebrates 20 years, and the blog matures to double digits. Many attended the '5 years' bash; it was epic. Event ideas welcome!
2017 closes primary school for our family. Mentally gearing up (cocktails prepped) for our eldest's 10th birthday and middle school leap.
Our tween—edging toward teen—turns 12 soon. Holiday haze lingers. Disneyland Paris with a friend? Budget vetoed (key rides shuttered). She adapted gracefully; ice skating with friends it is. (I adore skating… but it's her day, of course.)
Coming soon: her loft-bed bedroom revamp—utterly charming.
