During a sunny family trip to Disneyland Paris, we discovered Vapiano in Disney Village for the first time over lunch. As experienced parents traveling with young children (ages 3.5 years and 3.5 months), we share our honest insights from this visit.

With over 200 locations worldwide, including 15 in France as of our visit, Vapiano offers a unique fresh pasta experience. The brand expanded further in France by late 2018. We dined at the Disney Village outpost.
Note: Once inside Disney Village, you'll pass through security to exit. Vapiano sits next to Gaumont cinema and Five Guys burgers.
Its slightly tucked-away spot provides a welcome escape from Disneyland crowds—ideal on busy spring Sundays for a peaceful meal.

Large bay windows flood the space with light. Watch chefs prepare dishes in the open kitchen. A centennial olive tree anchors the room, complemented by modern decor, a massive plant wall, wooden furniture, and fresh herbs (basil and rosemary) on tables. It's designed for an immersive Italian escape.

The venue is spacious, spotless, and family-oriented, with an upper floor accessed by a glass elevator. For families with young kids like ours, head upstairs: Downstairs has limited low tables (3-4), mostly high communal ones near drafty entrances. Upstairs offers a kids' play area and changing facilities—our little one even tested the changing table!

Vapiano prioritizes a relaxed, communal vibe perfect for family gatherings.

Service sets Vapiano apart from nearby fast food. It's a full concept: Receive a card at reception to charge orders, pay on exit. Staff could improve by explaining the system to first-timers, suggesting upstairs for families, and highlighting specials.
Stations include:

Extensive options suit all, including vegan/veggie and clear allergen info. Live cooking ensures freshness but means queues. We ordered two starters, pizza, pasta, and a bake: One parent queued thrice (5-10 mins per dish). Chefs vary in demeanor, but quality shines.
We went veggie-focused.
€8.10 for pasta/pizza + €2.50 organic Capri Sun. Our son's pizza was deliciously fresh; he nearly finished it, complete with fun ear shapes.

Bruschetta starters were vibrant—fresh marinated tomatoes on excellent bread.

Mom's Pick: Pesto Rosso Fusilli Fresh onsite pasta with tomatoes, ricotta, grilled pine nuts, and tomato pesto. Slightly spicy sauce overshadowed pasta subtly, but outstanding overall.

Dad's Pick: Veggie Macaroni Gratin Roasted zucchini, spinach in creamy pesto, Grana Padano. Indulgent and well-browned, though better for cooler days. Pasta dishes feel more artisanal.
Dishes offer great value; drinks are pricier (€4.40 Coke Zero). Eye-catching detox juices await next visit. Desserts/coffee at entrance island—homemade options like chocolate mousse, quality brews served warmly.
