A while ago I wrote about the LOL surprise dolls. How much my daughter loved these mini dolls and their “lil sisters”. Then when the LOL Surprise PETS series came out, with oh so cute animals, she got even more excited. This hype would probably blow over. I thought. But no. The fun really got going when real LOL surprise confetti balls were added to the range. Do you already know this one?

The LOL surprise confetti balls had to come. With some leftover birthday money, my daughter went to the toy store. Two balls were purchased for € 12.99 each. As if it cost nothing, my daughter gave her last money to the cashier. In spite of my argument to save a little further. I do understand her. It's cool. Such a ball that bursts with confetti and which again contains various surprises, including a real ring tattoo.
There is, of course, another side. First of all, I think she has enough toys now. However, for her it is a collection. She would prefer them all. But not me. That she has had enough of these dolls is one thing I think. The mess it brings, that's point two. Trust me, there's no fun in that!
Just unpacking that ball already gives a big mess dude. Whichever series you have, all balls are wrapped in a cheerful piece of paper. In several layers. Because my princess is so enthusiastic, these papers do not immediately disappear in the trash. No, it is not. She just lets it swirl on the floor. Because she has to quickly move on to the next layer.
But now the confetti. You pull the string, aka “THE ZIP” and then PLOP! Then the confetti will jump out in no time! Wow! Even the confetti is in beautiful, cheerful girl colors.
The first ball popped open nicely and the confetti fluttered down beautifully. The second didn't go smoothly. Check out her vlog. As befits a real woman, a pre-reading instruction is not necessary.
Without that bang, the fun is over for me. But daughter doesn't mind. She manages to open the ball and enthusiastically shakes out the confetti. When I look at all that confetti on the floor, I shake my head a little less enthusiastically. My girl doesn't see it. While I grumble, she is having fun with her new dolls from the LOL surprise confetti ball.

Each category or club includes a number of dolls with trendy names such as Madame Queen, Go-Go Girl and Foxy. Everything in English and the names fit neatly into the theme of the club in question. For example, at the “Opposites” club you only have two dolls:Dawn and Dusk. I think it's well made. This way they learn a nice word of English.
In addition to all the surprises, the balls also contain a checklist. This way you can see which dolls you can still save. Not all images and names are shown. So there are still a few mystery guests on the way. Smart. In this way the collectors remain vigilant.
With all that confetti mess, a “housekeeping” club wouldn't have been out of place here. With Laundry girl and the Iron lady they can easily fill some balls.
Who knows, maybe I'll give the makers an idea!
My own doll's room is now full of these balls, dolls, pets and matching accessories. And a lot of confetti. In between all this little clutter, I now have to try and clear my way with the vacuum cleaner to expertly remove the confetti. Careful hey, because oh woe if I lose something. Then the fun in our palace is hard to find.
