A week after our return from Ireland, my husband and I headed back to the office the next morning (ouch, reality hits hard).
But who looked after the kids?
This year marked a big milestone… they managed themselves like true grown-ups!
I apparently turned into the office comedian with my concerns: "But what will they do without me?" Everyone got a good laugh.
To keep them occupied and limit screen time, I created a daily "to-do list" each morning: empty the dishwasher, tidy the bedroom, sort school supplies, buy bread, and call the grandparents.
I didn't anticipate: cluttering the living room with elaborate Kapla domino circuits.
No big deal—we'll adapt. Can't wait for the school year to start tomorrow!
