The Lotus Baby brand, newly launched in France, has prioritized transparency by detailing the composition of its nappies and training pants. Soon, this information will appear directly on packaging for even greater accessibility.
As a parent and product reviewer, I've found Lotus Baby nappies to deliver exceptional quality and peace of mind.
Lotus Baby places baby well-being at the forefront. Years of dedicated Research & Development went into crafting the perfect balance of protection, comfort, softness, and a rigorously safe composition for Lotus Baby Touch nappies and pants.
From launch, the brand has openly shared full composition details on its website, ensuring no secrets from parents. Starting September 2018, this transparency extends to packaging.
“Young parents prioritize their babies' well-being and scrutinize product choices. We deliver safe products with complete transparency on composition,” states Véronique Blot, Lotus Baby Marketing Manager.

Beyond internal checks, Lotus Baby commissioned migration analyses from the independent National Testing Laboratory (LNE)*, revealing no harmful substances. Independent toxicologist Professor Masson, founder of the EVIC biological research group, also confirmed safety:
“My investigations confirm Lotus Baby nappies pose no foreseeable risks when used as directed.”
Skin health is paramount: all skin-contact materials are dermatologically tested, with no lotions or perfumes. The Skin Health Alliance, a leading skin health organization, has certified the composition.
The cellulose pulp in Lotus Baby Touch nappies and pants is FSC-certified, sourced from responsibly managed forests. This supports ecosystem preservation, biodiversity, and local communities.
Products also hold EU Ecolabel certification, meeting strict standards: no perfumes or EU-classified toxics, plus minimal environmental impact via low CO2 emissions and waste limits.
“We're proud of our Ecolabel— it validates our efforts to minimize environmental impact. Responsibility matters for future generations,” says Estelle Vaconsin, Quality and Sustainable Development Manager at Essity France.
All products are manufactured in Essity facilities, ensuring full production oversight without subcontractors.
In summary, the composition of Lotus Baby nappies ensures:
